Best Western El Cid

I love this place. One of the most charming, comfy, best located hotels I've been to. It has it all: spacious, clean, homey rooms with desk and comfortable bed, A/C, elevator, parking at the hotel. Staff was super helpful when I needed printouts. Surrounded by restaurants in the tourist area. The only problem was that the wifi wouldn't connect to the internet much of the time--2 out of 4 days I was there. Hope they get that resolved. Otherwise a great hotel.

What a charming place. We spent a few days exploring ensanada and decided to make this our base point. This is a very walkable neighborhood with just about anything you might want within a few blocks. Street crew walked through every morning and cleaned up the streets, and the shop workers took great care in making sure the sidewalks were clean. The restaurant downstairs was fun and the food was good. The parking is tight but manageable, what I liked is that the parking was secure, and seemed like somebody was always watching the lot. My daughters really enjoyed the old Mexico feel of this hotel, and the courteous staff. If you stay for a few days, and settle in, this place will enchant you. Will definitely return, thank you for taking great care of us!

The hotel and rooms are attractive and clean. Most of our electrical outlets were not working. The front desk staff were excellent. I'd stay here again.

Its a cute, clean place. Staff are really nice and they seem to have everything in the right place. Safe parking. Water could have had better pressure and hotter. Very old Spanish decor. Could use a little updating here and there. Gym looked acceptable, I didn't use it because it is accessed via outside areas and it was raining. Overall a nice place.

Great hotel option in Ensenada. Central to everything. Comfortable rooms. Has streaming service like Netflix and prime video! Friendly staff. Clean facilities.

Excellent place, the room was nice, beautiful street view from the balcony. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they never told us that they change the rules about the room cleaning service, In most of hotels that I've been to, you HAVE TO put the sign outside the door saying that you DO NOT want to be disturbed. In this place you are supposed to put the sign IF YOU WANT your room to be serviced.. management said that we should have read the sign. I said all the hotels follow the same rules, why did you change it and why did you you didn't let me know about it when I booked in. Just saying this FYI...

Beautiful hotel, my room was roomy but still felt cozy. The staff were helpful and friendly. My one complaint would be that there was only one usable electric outlet, and it was not next to the bed like in most other hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. But that’s just me nitpicking. The parking lot is small, but you can rest soundly knowing your car is in a safe place. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall very happy with this place. Great central location, secure parking, safe. Checking in with several people at once was slow (photocopy this, print that). Room is great. Spacious, clean, wet bar with coffee maker and refrigerator. Heating/cooling on demand. Lovely balcony. Bathroom is a bit dated but perfectly functional. Beware of the step down into the bedroom when you open the door! Snacks for breakfast in the lobby, nothing substantial. Didn’t use the pool but looks nice. At $160 per night expect US prices.
